Too hard, too soft - but never on point. A perfectly cooked egg is a science in itself. But for BeepEgg, it's very simple. Just store along with the eggs, cook with the eggs and wait for BeepEgg to sing the right song:

HOUND DOG for medium-cooked eggs

How does BeepEgg work?
BeepEgg continuously measures the temperature. With this data it calculates the internal temperature of the egg. BeepEgg knows which doneness has been reached at which internal temperature. It is important to store BeepEgg together with the chicken eggs to have an identical starting temperature. Place BeepEgg and chicken egg in the pan at the same time. It doesn't matter if you start with cold or boiling water. It also doesn't matter if you cook one chicken egg or a dozen, nor if you are in the mountains (high altitude) or at sea level (low altitude).

Once the egg has reached the right temperature for the desired hardness, BeepEgg will play a tune. Then you simply rinse BeepEgg and chicken egg with cold water (stops the cooking process of the chicken egg and switches off BeepEgg). Now just enjoy the perfectly cooked egg.
