The great Gummy Gnome Lamp from Seletti refers to the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm about Snow White who moves in with seven little dwarfs. The fairy tale became a huge box office hit in 1937 when Disney turned it into an animated film.

The Disney dwarfs also turned out to be a great and humorous source of inspiration for the Italian designer Uto Balmoral. He designed a series of three 'Gummy' dwarfs, with each dwarf blowing a gigantic bubble gum bubble. Even more: he turned the chewing gum bubble into an LED lamp bulb, so that the chewing gum-blowing dwarf transformed into a funny, fairy-like and slightly rebellious table lamp, which seems to have walked straight out of the Snow White fairy tale.
